Weekly Update: September 10th, 2018

Hopefully your first FULL WEEK of classes has started off well.

Here are this week's happenings!

Freshman Class Council

Election sign-ups are posted and will come down Friday, September 14th at 10:10am. Elections will be held September 21st during class chapel. If you're curious about a position, email nnusga@nnu.edu and we'll connect you with the right person!


This week Camilla Mowry will be speaking and Shannon Seward is leading worship. Come to the Little Theater at 8:45 for pre-service prayer, service starts at 9!


Intramural registration ends Thursday, September 13th at 10pm. Sign-ups are available at IMLeagues.com for flag football, powderpuff football (we need powderpuff teams!), outdoor volleyball, and ultimate frisbee. Games begin Saturday, September 15th!

Attention Freshmen and Seniors!

This week, Senior Class Council is hosting a Pancakes and Chill for the freshmen and senior classes. September 13th at 9pm, right outside Culver. There will be lots of pancakes and fun toppings, so come hang out!

Broom Hockey 

This Friday, followed by a midnight movie! Here's what you need to know:

When: Friday, September 14th at 10pm

Where: Idaho Ice World

Wear close-toed shoes, and your class colors!

        Freshmen - white

        Sophomores - black

        Juniors - red

        Seniors - gray

Midnight Movie will immediately follow at the Overland Park Cinema. Come for a free movie, and free popcorn + drink!

Club Fair

The Club Fair and Cookout is this Saturday, September 15th from 1-3pm in the Olsen Parking Lot on the South side of the soccer field! Come learn about how you can be involved in clubs, grab a bite to eat, and support the women's soccer team (game starts at 1:30)!

Athletics - come support our student athletes!

Thursday - home volleyball game @ 7pm

theme: hawaiian night!

Saturday - women's soccer @ 1:30pm

                  volleyball @ 7pm

Rec Center Passes

On sale now and through September 21st, available outside the Dex during lunch and dinner! Passes are $75 for the semester.
