Weekly Update: November 5th, 2018

Hello all!

We hope you had a wonderful weekend! Here's what to watch out for this week!


This week is NNU's annual Homecoming, with lots of events taking place November 8th-10th! Here's a few to keep on your radar:

- Homecoming Play: The Murder Room, performances Nov. 8th-10th.

- Food Truck Rally, Nov. 9th at 5pm, followed by Men's and Women's Basketball games (see below).

- Coronation: Nov. 9th at 8:45pm, during half-time of the men's game.

- Music Department Homecoming Concert, Nov. 10th at 7:30pm.

Senate takes place in the Instructional Lab of the library, 7:30pm every Wednesday. All are welcome!


Timeout this week will be in BRANDT again! Jessica Rimer and Josh Dringenberg and their team will be leading worship, and Jillian Joseph is speaking. Prayer starts at 8:45, worship begins at 9pm.

Timeout Retreat

Registration is going on THIS week and this week ONLY! The retreat is Nov 16-17 in Donnelly, ID, and total cost is $30 (and includes a sweet t-shirt). Make sure to sign up this week during lunches and dinners outside the Dex (cash AND card accepted).


There is a lot going on this weekend, so make note of these times and watch the SGA Insta for reminders!

Thursday: Volleyball game @ 7


- Women's basketball @ 5:30

- Men's basketball @ 8 with Homecoming Coronation at halftime

- Student section shirts to be handed out at the start of the women's game. First come first serve!


- Volleyball game @ 1 pm: SENIOR NIGHT. Come dressed as a SENIOR CITIZEN for the last home game to send the seniors off the right way!

- Women's basketball game @ 5

Yearbook Photos
Yearbook pictures will be taken on November 27th and 28th during lunch. If these times don’t work for you, there will be another opportunity to get your picture taken next semester. Be thinking of ideas, get creative


- Championship games taking place this weekend! They'll begin at 11am on the turf field, with hot cocoa provided.

- Tagged registration is also open this week! Game starts November 8th.

- If you lost anything at the intramural field, come see Skye Johnson in his office this week to get them from the lost and found!
